With the initiative of Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown, the Interact Club begins its journey at Narayana School, Fulbari.

On Saturday, the Interact Club was inaugurated at Narayana School located in Jutiyakali near Fulbari. The Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown has chosen Narayana School, the only one in North Bengal, to start its first Interact Club.

The inauguration of this Interact Club was marked by a ceremonial lamp lighting conducted by the District Governor of Rotary Club, Sukhminder Singh. Present at the occasion were the Principal of Narayana School, Pankaj Kumar Jha, former District Governor Subhasis Chatterjee, along with other office bearers of Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown.

On this occasion, while addressing the students, Dr. Sukhminder Singh said that students between the ages of 12 to 18 have been included in this Interact Club. Not only that, the International Rotary Club has long been working towards making students aware of their responsibilities and duties towards society from a very young age.

The Principal of Narayana School, Pankaj Kumar Jha, said, “We are very delighted that an internationally reputed organization like the Rotary Club has associated with us. We will always extend our cooperation from our end. It is indeed a matter of great joy that through the Rotary Club, our students will become aware of their duties and responsibilities towards society.”

The Interact Club of the International Rotary Club commenced its journey in a delightful environment at the campus of Narayana School in Fulbari, near Siliguri. Alongside studies, this Interact Club will help the future generation of India to become more aware and responsible towards society.
