Missing Tapas Oraon Rescued After 10 Days by Traffic Police’s Human Effort; Family Reunited in Tears of Joy


Sahudangi: Ten days ago, Tapas Oraon went missing after leaving his home. Despite continuous searching by family members, there was no trace of him. The entire family was devastated with worry. Alongside filing a missing diary at the Phansidewa police station, the family searched everywhere, but all efforts were in vain.

Tapas Oraon is a resident of Bardabadu area in Phansidewa Block. Since his disappearance, his sister Ruby Mondal had been tirelessly searching for her brother, clinging to hope.

Finally, Tapas was spotted aimlessly wandering near Canal Road adjacent to Sahudangi by the personnel of Canal Road Traffic Guard. Suspecting something unusual, they questioned him and soon confirmed his identity as the missing Tapas Oraon. The family was immediately informed.

Upon receiving the news, his elder sister Ruby Mondal rushed to the spot along with their younger sister. Seeing her brother, she broke down in tears and hugged him tightly. In that emotional moment, she said, “We’ve got our brother back; nothing else matters now. Thank you, everyone.”

The alertness and compassionate effort of the Canal Road Traffic Police helped reunite a missing person with his family. This incident once again highlighted how significant the police’s sense of social responsibility truly is.
