Kranti:On the occasion of the 9th death anniversary of Late Kamala Maitra and the holy month of Ramadan, a humanitarian initiative was undertaken in the area. Dr. Pinaki Narayan Maitra, accompanied by his parents, visited the residence of Padma Shri awardee Karimul Haque, popularly known as the “Bike Ambulance Dada,” and distributed sarees among 60 underprivileged mothers.
Paying tribute to the memory of Late Kamala Maitra, Dr. Maitra conveyed a message of standing beside the poor and needy. He stated that serving humanity remains his primary goal.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Pinaki Narayan Maitra remains actively involved in social work throughout the year. From distributing food supplies to tea garden workers to providing winter clothing, he consistently strives to support the poor and marginalized sections of society. His initiative has been widely appreciated in the locality.
