Rajganj:Marking the occasion of Ulto Rath, Lions Club of Nab Diganta organized a community service initiative on Friday at the Gaudiya Math in Adarsha Pally, Rajganj. To provide relief to devotees amid the intense summer heat, the club distributed 700 bottles of drinking water and 10 kilograms of batasa (traditional sugar candy). Khichuri prasad was also served to the devotees.

The programme was attended by Lions Club of Nab Diganta President Rabi Roy, Secretary Debashish Sardar, Treasurer Pabitra Roy, along with Sudip Roy, Supen Roy, Surya Roy, Parimal Roy and other members of the organization.

The Maharaj of Gaudiya Math appreciated the humanitarian initiative and thanked all the members of the club for their contribution.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Debashish Sardar said, "This is our small effort to provide some relief to the devotees visiting the Ulto Rath festival in the scorching heat. We will continue to organize such community service initiatives in the future."
